Catholic Charities of Shiawassee and Genesee Counties is planning our annual fundraising event “Chair-ity” to be held on November 5, 2026 at our beautiful St. Michael’s Event and Conference Center. It is our 85th anniversary of serving the people of Genesee and Shiawassee Counties and we are planning a very special occasion. It is our largest fundraiser of the year and money raised from this special event will support the direct services that we offer daily throughout the area. Including:

North End Soup Kitchen
Sacred Heart Veteran Village & Resource Center
Community Closet that provides clothes and personal need items
Medical Transportation services for medically fragile children and adults
Work Ready Room
Warming Center
Child Welfare Program with Foster Care and Adoption Services
Prevention and Education
Offender Success Program
Counseling Services in Owosso
Food Program and Pantry in Owosso
CALLING ALL ARTISTS!
We are calling for uniquely decorated chairs or art to be auctioned at our signature fundraiser, Chair-ity! Transform a plain chair into an amazing work of art, design an build your own unique piece, or donate a one of a kind find antique piece. Be creative!
Your donation will not only provide someone with a one-of-a-kind piece of furniture, but it will help us continue our mission to provide those most in need with help, hope and healing.
