With more than 40 programs serving thousands of individuals each year, Catholic Charities relies on the generosity of volunteers to help us fulfill our mission of providing help and creating hope for those in need. Every year volunteers lend us their greatest gifts of time, talent, and resources to help us meet critical human service needs in Shiawassee and Genesee Counties.

Last year we serviced almost 200,000 meals to the residents of Genesee County. Our programs provide vital support to the community, giving them not only a hot meal, but also relief from the cold and a place to socialize. Volunteer to prepare and serve a meal at one of our three Flint Soup Kitchens. Individuals and groups are welcome. To learn more email givehope@ccsgc.org

Community Closet

Located in our Center for Hope, the Community Closet has many volunteer opportunities. Help with sorting and organizing donations, welcoming clients, and assisting them to find the things that they need. For more information email givehope@ccsgc.org

professional expertise

Are you looking for ways to contribute your professional expertise? We welcome volunteers with special skills of any kind, such as those who can assist us with administration, grounds keeping and life coaching.
